Online Purchasing

Using our online shopping system its safe, secure and easy to order online, as we use the PayPal system, or direct bank transfer.

Phone Purchasing

If you would prefer to place your order by phone, please call us on 1800 316 654. Please note we are only available from 5am to 3pm eastern time (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane)

This can be completed by Internet banking online. Please make payment for total amount including any freight/delivery costs. When your payment has been received we will dispatch your goods. Orders using credit cards are processed through PayPal. This is a secure method of payment and your details will be completely private. If you do not have a computer, you may wish to make a phone order using your Eftpos card.

Please note that purchases from overseas may require additional freight costs.

Our site uses a secure order page for customers to purchase our products. We collect customers contact information such as email addresses, physical addresses and credit card details in order to process your purchase and send the goods. None of this information is shared outside of the company and the payment is processed through an encrypted web banking service, meaning we do not see any of your financial details. This ensures that purchasing from Edenlite is 100% safe. If you still feel unsure about submitting your details, please contact us by phone or email so we can deal with your order another way.

Privacy

Edenlite upholds the core values of honesty and integrity, and we are 100% committed to upholding your privacy. We will never distribute, sell or rent any information regarding our customers to anybody. We may also ask a customer for a product review on our models of glasshouse and greenhouse to put on our website, however, we will not do this without the customer’s consent. If you currently have a review showing but would like it removed, please contact us.
Please note that your detail will be kept within our database if you make a purchase off us or subscribe via our website. If you would like to unsubscribe and have all customer information (email and physical addresses) deleted, please contact us at sales@edenlite.com.au
Edenlite reserves the right to keep customer order history and records in the unlikely event that it may be used for a warranty claim.

Warranty
Edenlite offers a free 30 year warranty on our range of aluminium glasshouses and plant benches, and a 10 year warranty on our polycarbonate Rion greenhouses. This warranty protects the customer from faulty or defective materials or workmanship. The warranty begins on the date of delivery to the customer. This warranty does not cover damage from neglect or lack of maintenance, extreme weather conditions, eg wind, hail, storms, user or natural accidents, eg tree falling on it, acts of God, eg earthquake, or natural breakdown of materials over time. We very strongly recommend insuring your glasshouse in case of the occurrence of any of the mentioned events.
Please retain your sales invoice or details in case of activating your warranty, otherwise submissions will not be considered. The warranty covers only the original owner and is not transferable. Also note that we will not replace parts under warranty that are broken or damaged when relocating the item. These will need to be repurchased at the customers own cost.

In the event of damage from neglect or accident, and the item is not insured, we can repair or replace the item at a reasonable charge.

 

Return Policy
Edenlite has a 7-day return policy. The item(s) must be in new condition with original packaging and receipt to get a full refund. We will only refund the customer once the goods have arrived at our manufacturing base, also note that there are no free returns, all freight costs must be paid by the customer. Shipping & Freight

We aim to process your order by the end of the day in which we receive payment confirmation. For small parts, you should expect to have them within 14 business days, as some of them may have to be sent from overseas. For glasshouses and greenhouses, you should also expect them within 14 business days, however, it may take an extra 20 days if the glasshouse is powder coated. Please note that if you are a rural delivery customer it may take an extra 1-2 days for your order to arrive.

Acceptance of Terms

When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.

Orders, Price and Payment

Products may be ordered by following the instructions on the catalog pages of this site. All prices quoted include Goods and Services Tax. Prices may increase or decrease from time to time. You must pay by credit or debit card. Your card details are delivered immediately to a secure ecommerce server and our bank immediately debits your card for the cost of the items ordered and of delivery. If Mitre 10 is unable to deliver any items, your credit or debit card will be credited with the full cost and delivery charge for that item debited when the order was placed.

Delivery

Edenlite may decide to dispatch your order in one delivery or by installments. Any quotations of delivery times  are made in good faith but are estimates and we are not bound by such quotation. We will select the method of delivery and determine a fair charge to the buyer for the cost of it. Where the buyer requests another method of delivery and we agree in writing then the buyer shall meet the cost of that delivery.

Shortages, Damages or Loss in Transit

Liability for shortages in the quantity of goods delivered is limited to making up the shortages. No claim for shortages in quantity will be allowed unless the customer gives notification of the shortage in email within 7 days of the delivery and provides a reasonable opportunity for Edenlite to investigate the claim. Goods leaving our premises are adequately packed and checked before dispatch. Claims for damage or loss in transit are not a liability for Edenlite, however, we will follow the freight company up suitably. Please note that within 7 days of receipt of delivery of the goods, the buyer must ensure that all goods received are in good order and condition. No claims of damage will be considered after 7 days after the delivery of the goods.

Seller’s Liability and Maintenance Guarantee

Edenlite always makes sure that the goods ordered are fit and suitable for the purpose for which they are required and we are under no liability if they are not.  If there is any defect or damage in any goods upon delivery, we are liable to replace the broken or damaged parts only, not incite the whole warranty. We are not liable for consequential or customer-related damages under any circumstances. At the time of the warranty running out or terminating by change of ownership, all liability on the seller’s part ceases.
As stated earlier, the warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, neglect or improper operation, extreme weather conditions, maintenance, installation, modification or adjustment.

Property and Risk

Risk (including insurance responsibility) shall pass to the buyer on delivery of the goods. To reduce liability on Edenlite, the goods will only be shipped after payment has been made in full. In the case of contract agreements, a supply only contract may be entered into, where Edenlite supplies the goods to the buyer who is overseeing an operation, however, payment will still be required before dispatch can be arranged. This provision is designed to protect the seller in the event of the bankruptcy, receivership or liquidation of the buyer, a seizure of goods by a creditor of the buyer or default in payment. Until such payment is made the buyer shall be only a fiduciary owner of the goods.

Force Majeure

Edenlite is not liable to the buyer for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay in delivery of the goods, or failure to perform any term of this contract where such delay or failure is caused directly or indirectly by extreme weather conditions, an act of God, natural disasters, terror attacks or interruptions of, or delay in transportation or any other cause beyond our control.

Compliance

The buyer shall be solely responsible for obtaining any necessary permits under and for compliance with all legislation, regulations, by-laws or rules having the force of law in connection with the installation and operation of the goods.
